Where does my tour start and end?
The “tours” tab on our web page will indicate the location of where the tours start and end, as each guide leads a different tour.
Once you have arrived at the meeting point in the city, please look for our guide and/or a sign with the tour starting point.
Do I tip my tour guide?
This question comes up very often as to whether or not to tip your tour guide.
While guides do work for tips (or a better term is gratuity as TIPS means "to insure prompt service"), a tip is meant to be a reward for an experience meeting your expectation or knocking your socks off.
Tips are greatly appreciated and pretty much an industry standard so please plan to include a tip in your tour plan.
Can we bring our dog/cat/horse?
We love pets, but unfortunately not all guests do. We ask guests not to bring pets on the public tours. We do offer private tours and many of these can accommodate dogs. Please call us to schedule a special tour with your pet.
What is the frequency of the tour?
Every day. Check out the schedule of the tour you are interested in for times. The “Bar Crawl” is the only tour which is scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays only.
How long does the tour last?
Approximately 1.5 hours- 2 hours.
The duration can change according to the number of participants and also to the seasonal weather conditions.
What is the distance of the walking tour?
The ghost and historical tours are up to 2.3 miles with ample seating stops.
Does my Bar Crawl ticket include a beer or a drink?
Your ticket guarantees your spot on the tour, lets you hear all our great stories, and provides you with a cool bracelet to impress all your friends and identify you as a "crawler" for the duration of the evening. The ticket price does not include drinks. Please bring extra money to purchase drinks along the tour route! Although most of our stops will accept credit cards, cash is preferred as it moves much faster.
Do I need to bring ID?
ABSOLUTELY! We are not responsible if you are unable to gain entry into one of the taverns for failing to do so!
Is the tour only in English?
Yes and No, tours are spoken in English. But we can schedule a private tour for you and your party and we will use a translation app to better communicate our stories.
Is the tour children and seniors friendly?
Seniors and children are very welcome.
The tour provides historic and cultural information and is suitable for an interested audience, so keen and curious children will love it.
We rarely hear that seniors have a hard time on our tours as long as they feel comfortable walking.
We do recommend to attend the tour with children who can walk on their own most of the tour. Strollers are allowed.
The Bar Crawl is only for 21+ years of age.
Is the tour accessible for people with disabilities?
The Tours are specially designed for people with reduced mobility or who travel in wheelchair.
Our guides are working continuously to find the most accessible itineraries for all our Guests.
What if I am late?
Even if you think you won't arrive in time or if you have problems in reaching the Meeting Point, please contact the tour guide who will explain to you how to meet the group if the tour has already started.
Getting to the Meeting Point 15 minutes before the beginning of the tour will allow us to start on time.
What should I bring? What should I wear?
We recommend using sunblock and wearing a cap/hat for protection. A bottle of water can be handy. Comfortable shoes and clothes are also recommended.
For additional clothing and accessories, please read the weather forecast.
Does the tour run rain or shine?
Yes, the tour runs in all weather unless it's dangerous. If we cancel the event, participants may reschedule for a future tour.
How big are the groups?
We try to limit the number of participants to a maximum of 20 people.
Who are the guides?
Our guides were born in or study/work in the cities where they are leading the tours.
They have gone through extensive training of the points of interest.
All guides have areas of expertise related to the history and the events of the city they are presenting.
Where can I send a complaint or suggestion?
We value the input of our Guests.
